Do you have to show proof of funds when re-entering Thailand with a DTV visa?

Those who left and came back:

Did they ask you again for proof of money in the bank?

When I did my visa i read on many places that if you leave from the country they might ask you to show again that you have money in the bank.

I don’t remember how much was it but I believe it was around $15k

Do they actually do this? Or they just let you in?

Thank you for your responses!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around whether travelers re-entering Thailand with a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) are asked to show proof of funds in their bank account. While some commenters have not encountered any requests for proof upon re-entry, others mention a few instances of being asked to provide their financial details on forms without needing to show physical proof. Overall, many participants suggest that travelers with a DTV can generally enter without being asked for proof of funds.

There are some similar reports about forms to be filled in CNX.

Nope, i haven't been asked anything at all. Just look at my passport and visa then stamp me in

I was not asked any questions nor was my traveling companion!

And why is it that the posts I see saying they had trouble coming back in with a DTV always seem to be ‘Anonymous’. Suspicious minds could conclude it’s someone with an agenda against the DTV maybe 🤔

Last night I returned from a border run with a DTV and was asked to fill out a form and was asked (among other things) how much funds I have available in the bank. I wrote down a number that I thought was close. I wasn't asked for any proof.

I left and entered once. No question was asked.

I've heard that the only time you might get asked for proof of funds again is if you extend the visa whilst in Thailand. But other than that you are free to go in and out for 5 years without having to show proof of funds again
