In December 2025, I had my first visa run at a land border crossing to Laos and then flew back to Thailand the same day for another 180 days with the dtv visa stamped.

This was the first time after entering Thailand with the new visa through the airport in Bangkok.

I’m wondering if I’ll have any issues going to Laos this time to Luang Prabang for a week and then returning via the land crossing. I’m planning a week-long trip by car from Chiang Mai.🙏🇹🇭

shouldn't have any issue re-entering thailand via a land crossing at the Lao border with a DTV

PRINT out the PDF they sent you when you got the approval email (because that PDF is your visa) and present it along with your passport when you stamp in

AND

don't forget to check your entry stamp before you walk away from the counter (people get bad stamped all the time)
