Currently in Thailand and looking to travel to Vietnam for 3 nights. I hold a United Kingdom passport and would like to know if I have to apply for a visa before hand?
I am unsure after reading page below. Any help would be great π

TLDR : Answer Summary
A UK passport holder can enter Vietnam without a visa for a stay of up to 15 days. Recent discussions confirm that the visa exemption has been reinstated as of March 15 after being canceled during the Covid pandemic. Travelers have reported no requirement for insurance or other documents upon entry.
BNO passports are different from standard UK ones - they are basically issued to people from Hong Kong born before 1997. You can go there for 15 days visa free with a standard British passport.
I believe that is old outdated information. The visa exempt was cancelled during Covid, but was re-instated on March 15 when they also removed the Covid testing requirement.
