I hold an Irish passport and going for 2weeks. Do I need a visa?
Answer summary
Irish passport holders do not need a visa for a stay of up to 60 days in Thailand. Instead, they must complete an online Thailand Digital Arrivals Card (TDAC) within 72 hours before arrival. It is important to check for an exit ticket requirement and to verify information using official government websites.

Visa. Irish citizens do not require a visa to enter Thailand for the purpose of tourism or short-term business engagements for a period not exceeding 60 days.
You fill out 3 days prior to arrival online very easy they want to make sure youre safe, staying somewhere and leaving at some point not coming to be a burden or over stay
The people saying you don’t need a visa are correct, but man, in the future I strongly recommend looking at official websites from the governments of your home country and the country you’re planning to visit. This is not the sort of thing you want to trust to randos on social media.
David Peters Count your days carefully. It's easy to make a mistake and find you have 31 days. While you can pay to have it extended when in Thailand, it's BS you don't want to be dealing with while on holiday. Assume by December they have reverted to 30 day visa exemptions. Check if your country is in that visa exemptions list.
Please ignore haters. You don't need a visa but you do need to fill an online digital arrivals card. The legit (official) website won't ask you to pay any fee. Do look carefully.
Seaneen Kelly unfortunately you get a lot of people who think theyre hero's because they live out this way, yet they cant give any help to those who are unsure about entry requirements ...even although its a page entitled "Thailand Visa Advice"
No need for a visa - you'll receive a visa exempt stamp in your passport which is automatically for a 60 day period.
You also need to complete an online Thailand Digital Arrivals Card within the 72 hour period prior to arrival.
All flights we've done out of Dublin have always requested we show an exit ticket out of Thailand during our check-in - the check-in cant be completed fully on line so dont worry about it when they ask for an in person document check (its routine).
Sean Knowles nope. Has been 60 days since 2023..... theyre still waiting for the Thai Royal Gazette to publish the new 30 day visa exempt. Until them it stays at 60 day visa exempt.
