Do I need to visit immigration if I leave Thailand before my 90 days are up?

If this is a stupid question I apologise - if I leave Thailand and return within my first 90 days…

A. Do I still need to visit immigration on the date I should visit if I’d stayed for the full 90 days? Or

B. Does my 90 day clock then reset and I visit immigration 90 days from the date I return to Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you leave Thailand and return within your first 90 days, the 90-day clock resets with each entry. You are not required to report to immigration unless you have spent 90 consecutive days in the country.

The 90 day “clock” stops and re-starts on each entry. You only need to report if you’ve spent 90 consecutive days in the country.

If you leave on day 89 then no need to report and the “clock” starts again on your next entry.

90 day resets each time you enter. It is not cumulative.
