Ask the insurance company for an endorsement letter stating your covered for covid up to whatever figure ...... Usually 5 or 10 mill

Yep, you can indeed use an insurance policy in the UK that meets the requirements for the O-A visa. When you apply for it there should be a form you have your insurance company fill out that states you meet the requirements

that’ s for the first year only. Starting from the first extension, the insurance has to be purchased via Longstay thaï companies.
