Looking for some information / epxerience about whether it is okay to submit bank statements in a language other than English / Thai, i.e. in my case german.
I will be flying to Vietnam soon and want to apply via their online evisa services. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The general consensus among commenters is that bank statements should be submitted in either English or Thai when applying for a Vietnam eVisa. While some suggest that documents in other languages like German might be acceptable if submitted in the applicant's home country, this varies by embassy. It is recommended to check with the specific embassy for their language policies. Additionally, translating the documents using a service like Google Translate can be a solution, but it is crucial to ensure all pages are translated.
Bro notarized 😅 everyone is so scared here … it’s Thailand! Get your documents together, make sure they don’t need to ask you for everything and it’s a super easy thing. In general they just want to see that you can take care of yourself and that you don’t end up in jail …
They did but unfortunately they seem to reply to the wrong email because their answer is nothing close to my question. I gave up and just try to look for information from the group.
General rule of thumb is English or Thai only. That said there isn't too much info on a bank statement that needs to be highlighted, surely your name would be in English similar to your passport name and the balance and account number would be numbers.
