Hi there, ive just received my new uk passport in the post together with my old one which would have expired in june next year. Is there a requirement to go into immigration in udon thani to have the stamp transferred tommorrow. It expires october 3 this year and my 90 day report is due in august. I am here as a retired person. Not sure if it is ok to wait until august and take both passports with me or if i will face a fine for not doing it sooner. Thanks for any replies.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the necessity of transferring their immigration stamp from an expired UK passport to a new one at the immigration office in Udon Thani. They are concerned about potential fines for delaying the transfer until their 90-day report is due in August. Responses indicate that there is no strict time limit for the transfer, and it can be done during the next 90-day report or even during their extension in October.
