Thanks in advance for answering the following, sorry if that has been answered already! I have a non O marriage Visa, to do the 1 year extension do I also need to show proof of 400'000 even if I am a woman married to a thai man? I heard that as a woman they won't ask me for it. My visa expired on 28th of april, but I would like to give it a try in Koh Samui as I read here that some people got to get the extension in other immigration office in the same situation.

Thank you so much

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are a woman married to a Thai man and applying for a one-year extension of your Non-O marriage visa, you do not need to provide proof of finances, such as the 400,000 Baht requirement, to obtain the extension.

As a woman married to a Thai man, you will NOT need to show proof of finances to get the extension of stay based on marriage to a Thai national.
