TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers flying with Emirates to Thailand should request further proof of their travel insurance, such as a Certificate of Insurance, by emailing Emirates Assistance with a PDF of their ticket. It is important to do this soon, especially before 1st December, as Emirates may stop offering free insurance after this date. Additionally, if changing flight dates, it is advisable to check if a new Thailand Pass application is needed, as flight details are likely to be checked.
'Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, continues to offer complimentary Covid-19 medical insurance with all tickets for travel until at least March 31, 2022. The Abu Dhabi airline introduced its free travel insurance policy for passengers in September last year.'
