Hi, my brother has had his Thailand pass rejected twice for the insurance. His insurance clearly shows cover of up the £15 million!! Including cover for covid!

He reapplied uploading an exchange doc clearly showing over 20.5million US. It was rejected again…

Any constructive advice? He is supposed to be flying out on Sunday…

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is facing difficulties with the Thailand Pass application being rejected multiple times due to insurance compliance issues. Despite having significant coverage including for Covid, the Pass was rejected. Suggestions from the community include acquiring Thai-specific insurance like AXA, ensuring the documents explicitly state the coverage in USD rather than GBP, and submitting a cover letter from the insurance provider clarifying the Covid coverage. Updates reveal that a new AXA policy resolved the issue.

My insurance didn't state any specific amount, it stated unlimited coverage! Was no problem for Thailandpass!

AXA cover asymptomatic

Covid?

They like a cover letter from foriegn insurance companies. Just a one page document specifically stating that the insurance covers covid and thats the only page that needs to be submitted.

A few people have uploaded examples before. Will tag your post in insurance topics

my mum got her pass using a UK insurance company… my Brother has an annual UK policy… thinking he just needs a letter from them specifying in US dollars!! Trying that route, otherwise will try and get the Thai insurance through Axa, but time is now tight!!
