Hi flying from the uk next week and transiting through Dubai with Emirates. My concern was that the pre-travel Covid test regulations remained in force for all those who already have the Thailand Pass before April 1st so may still need to supply a Test result on arrival in Thailand?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers with a Thailand Pass issued before April 1st may still be required to provide a Covid test result upon arrival in Thailand. It is advisable to consult with the airline, as there may be inconsistencies in requirements. Many commenters suggest getting tested for peace of mind, regardless of the official regulations, to avoid potential complications upon arrival.

I’m travelling through Dubai with emirates next week and still having my rt-pcr test on Tuesday, peace of mind really, safe travels

Get tested before you get on the plane, regardless of rules. Surely a cheap test is worth it to avoid flying whilst infected and testing positive on arrival?

Call the airline.

I would honestly get one for peace of mind. You are not going to want to land in Thailand and test positive.

Airline staff have been slow on updates, it theory it should all get updated on the IATA website but Thai goverment do leave it till last moment. The official announcement is in Thai but you can refer them to tatnews.org which is the official site of Thailand tourism Authority

It is bow been gazettes to start 1 April, but it’s still best to check with the airline your flying with as some airlines may still want it
