TLDR : Answer Summary
The original post raises a question about whether enrolling in a school is necessary to obtain a visa in Thailand while being unemployed as an accountant. The conversation explores various visa options, including the Education Visa (ED) and Digital Nomad Visa (DTV), along with suggestions for alternative paths like teaching English or pursuing further education. However, several responses indicate the need for more context about the user's intentions, such as whether they wish to work or live in Thailand without employment.
2x2 hours per week and 80% attendance is supery easy to do. some schools will also be fairly relaxed with the regulation. so in the end it is up to the student to comply or not. there most likely wont be a problem.
ED with a private language school 45k for a year including school fees (30k) and visa fee (15k). in Krabi… fairly cheap. more expensive schools in BKK/Pattaya/etc.
yes its money but you also learn something.

Get a rubber dinghy sail to England you’ll be sorted never have to work again 👍
accountant charge rip off charges, you earn good money you should be able to retire and enjoy life. But if you want to work as an accountant remotely you should be able to get the DTV no problem . Get a visa lawyer , then it's no hassle and no problem. Siam legal in Bangkok

The solution requires a more defined question.
Are you planning on coming to Thailand to stay and work online?
maybe has lots of savings, wants to take a year or 2 off. Who knows? Really unclear as he provided incomplete and spare information. Unclear what "solution" he is seeking.
