Question about 90 day reporting by registered mail;
On one requirement, "previous notifications of staying over if any."
I threw away my past couple of receipts not knowing that they could be important. We just came back from an overseas trip last so we are not renewing the 90 day stay a second consecutive time, this is our first cycle since last arrival into Thailand, although our second year based in Thailand. That means that I don't have any "previous notifications" to show, right?
In other words, this "previous if any" requirement only applies if you are staying in Thailand for more than (90 x 2) days? Just wanted to double check.
Thanks for the help. I am sure it has been raised numerous times before, just has not been on my radar till now.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The requirement to show previous notifications for 90-day reporting only applies if you are filing for a consecutive 90-day stay without leaving the country. If you have just returned from an overseas trip and this is your first reporting cycle since your return to Thailand, you don't need to provide previous receipts.

when you come back in from overseas AND want to do a 90 day report by mail or in person you DO NOT NEED your previous 90 day reporting receipt. That's ONLY required if you've not been out of the country and are doing another 90 day report.
In Hua Huin they staple the receipt for your TM47 in your passport so as you have proof. Also stapled in my passport is my TM6 and TM 24. Simple filing system.
Please delete this link asap, that is the worst commercial website ever build in the world. That website is so full with incorrect information, that I even do not trust the letters used. No, you do not need previous notifications of stay to make a new one.
Thanks for telling where you are, saves a lot of explaining if you did this at the start, Bangkok does not enforce new reports of you come back from abroad. Just fill in what you know and leave the rest open, should be no problem.
I see. I am in BKK and I don't think the Immigrations there makes it a huge compliance issue. So you are saying maybe i am not a good candidate for mail in 90 days reporting?
Your name is in the system not your address if you did not file the TM 30 form within 24 hours after arriving at that address. Part of this 90 day report is telling that you still live on the same address, but if there is no address in the database it becomes difficult.
Robert Lagas Sorry you lost me. I have a non immigrant visa and have been based here for more than a year now, no one told me any 24 hour system update after arrival into the Kingdom? My name is in the system, through numerous entries, visits to the Immigrations and a couple of 90 days reportings, never in non-compliance of any sort?
I don't know where you are in Thailand, but lots of Immigration Offices want you to update their system within 24 hours after arrival in Thailand. You just been out of Thailand, did you update the system within 24 hours?
Yes I have done a couple in the past. I don't have records, but I wanted to clarify would it be OK that I won't have copies of those from the past since there is a break because of my trip in between the last and this upcoming 90 days.
