TLDR : Answer Summary
When traveling with a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand, it is possible that check-in counters and officers may inquire about a return ticket. However, users have noted that presenting the DTV visa typically suffices, as the visa allows for a 6-month stay with an option to extend for an additional 6 months, thus not necessarily requiring an onward ticket.

The airline might. Just show them your DTV visa and explain it is a 6-month visa with the ability to extend another 6-month if you desire.

They may, just show your DTV and you're good to go. No onward tickets required with the DTV.
