Currently awaiting DTV visa approval in LA, I seek guidance on ticket requirements for travel to Thailand. Considering my indefinite departure date and need for multiple country exits and re-entries, is it mandatory I secure a round-trip or one-way ticket?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you are awaiting approval for a DTV visa and plan to travel to Thailand, you are not required to book a round-trip ticket. Based on community comments, a one-way ticket is sufficient, especially since you have a long-term visa status. Additionally, some travelers suggest using a 'throwaway' ticket for outbound travel, which can be a cost-effective option.

One-way with outbound throw away ticket works great. I paid $16 for mine last month.

Shouldn't be any restrictions. One-way ticket should be fine since you have a long-term(ish) visa.
