TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for a Thai Digital Visa (DTV) at the Royal Thai Embassy in London, a booked flight confirmation is not required at the initial stage but may be requested later in the application process. It is advisable to book a refundable or flexible flight, ideally around 4-5 weeks before your intended travel date. The processing time for the visa is approximately 10-14 working days, and applicants must remain in the UK, Ireland, or UK Territories during this time as an in-person interview may be necessary.
Thank you for your reply. Flights are not required at the initial stage of the application but may be requested later. As applicants are responsible for all costs associated with the visa process and visa application, all flight and accommodation reservations made are strongly recommended to be refundable, exchangeable, or cancellable.
Please also be informed that the Embassy will not be able to issue visas for foreign nationals who are outside the UK, Ireland, or UK Territories. Despite visa services being provided online, visa applicants must remain physically in the United Kingdom (UK), Ireland, and UK Territories as the Embassy reserves the right to request an in-person interview. Accordingly, a visa application may be cancelled if the applicant departs from these countries and territories during the visa process and before a visa decision is made.
Embassy in UK. Will request you later flight ticket (e-ticket) from official airline. And total processing time after submit will be around 10-14 working days. If no more additional requests (update my last client one week ago)
They asked for my e ticket download from airline website and they advised 4-5 weeks after application refundable ticket or one where you can change dates x
