I have a UK passport but will be applying for my DTV from Dubai. Do I need a flight from UK to submit with my application if I submit it to UK embassy for processing?

When you submit the application to Thai embassy in UK you have to be in UK during processing.

If you are applying in Dubai then you need to stay there until you receive your decision. You would only need to be in the U.K. if you were applying there for your DTV🤷🏾‍♀️

As others hiy mentioned you have to be in the UK when applying there and stay while visa is processed. One guy posted here he applied then entered Thailamd on Visa Exempt. He had to return to UK and prove it before DTV issued

I had to book a flight back home from Thailand. They told me I had to be in the UK for my visa to be issued. My flight isn’t til 4th of December so they haven’t made a decision yet. I had to upload my flight tickets
