I’m currently in the process of applying for a 90 day non o visa. Does this need to be printed out. Ready to present to the Thai immigration?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The necessity of printing your 90-day Non-O visa depends on your method of application and presentation. If applying in person for the TM47 form, some offices may require a printed copy, while others only need your passport. For those who applied online, keeping the visa in your email may suffice; however, several expats recommend bringing a printed copy to avoid complications, especially if you plan to open a Thai bank account or apply for a driver's license.

if you intend to open a Thai bank account, I suggest you print several copies of the .pdf visa document, as the bank will want one . . same if you intend to get a Thai drivers license, etc.

Print it out, it tells you to do so

I would personally bring a paper copy in case your phone didn't work and you for whatever reason had to to show proof.

It should be in the system, but errors in all systems to happen from time to time.

I arrived in August from UK with same visa. I had a paper copy, however I just showed the officer my visa & TDAC on my phone no problems encountered.

You didn’t say where you are from. I’m from England and I came through immigration last month with the same visa as you, I showed my visa on my mobile phone and the guy just added a little note in my passport confirming the 90 days. It’s important to show your visa or you might just end up with a tourist visa stamped into your passport, with only 60 days.

My experience was;

After I applied and provided all the required information and scanned documents, it took about 7 - 10 days for it to be approved. I received an email and visa. I printed that and used it. One of the requirements for the application was flight and accommodation information. As a safety precaution I saved everything. Every page of the application, every email, etc. But i do this with everything i apply for online. Only needed the visa though.

Thanks for the reply. Not sure what the TM47 is. I’m applying again online in the UK for my NON O, as I made an almighty mistake with my last visa application

tm47 is the 90 day reporting form.

If you're going in person to apply for the TM47 then at some offices you need it, at others you just hand over your passport.

If you mean that you already applied online and received it, just keep it in your email.
