What documents do I need to show when arriving in Thailand with a DTV visa, and can I show it on my phone?
Hi there,
got my DTV visa (for me and my family) through the embassy in London. How does it work when I arrive in Thailand?
Can I show them my visa on my phone? And what other documents do they want to see? Valid Passport is clear, but do I need a return ticket?

Answer summary
Upon arriving in Thailand with your DTV visa, make sure to print out the visa approval PDF for both yourself and your family members, as it should be included in your passport. While some travelers reported showing their visa on a phone without issues, it's generally safer to have a printed copy. Additionally, your passport must be valid, and you will not need a return ticket since the DTV visa allows you to stay in Thailand for up to five years. Border officers may also engage in casual conversations, so be prepared for that.

You can show it just on your phone (at least I did) and was fine

I arrived today with a new DTV on a one way ticket. Showed my visa, no questions asked, just some small tall on Man Utd and David Beckham who the immigration officer loves.

Just print the DTV and keep it in your passport they will stamp you for a 6 months make sure you check it's 6 months. You can go on a one way ticket as you have the 5 year visa not required to do a return you live in Thailand now. Enjoy

Print out everyone's approval PDF put it in each passport and hand it to the border officer. Check the stamps when the passport is handed back.
