TLDR : Answer Summary
Upon receiving confirmation regarding the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) from the UK embassy, you do not need to visit the consulate for a stamp. Instead, the confirmation is sent via email, which includes a PDF attachment of your visa. It is necessary to print this document and present it alongside your passport to immigration officers upon arrival in Thailand.

As mentioned you get emailed a .pdf. I printed a few sizes out and laminated a couple at Snappy Snaps for a few quid.

You do not go to the consulate

You get an email that says your visa was approved,

The email has an attached PDF file that is your visa

PRINT it out, hand it and your passport to the officer at passport control when you stamp in to the country
