What end date should I expect on my immigration stamp when entering Thailand with DTV?

Hello group! I just got approved for DTV in Hanoi and heading back to Thailand on Friday. I’ve printed my DTV and my question is:

When going through immigration and they stamp my passport, what “end” date should I be looking for on their stamp? (180 days?) I want to be sure the immigration officer stamps it correctly.

Also is there anything else I should verify with passport/visa/paperwork to ensure immigration does their part right?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has recently received approval for a DTV visa in Hanoi and is seeking guidance on what end date to expect on the immigration stamp upon re-entry to Thailand. Specifically, they are curious if it should reflect a 180-day validity period from their entry date. Comments from the community suggest calculating the end date based on the arrival date and note that variations of a day or two may occur in the stamping process. Additional inquiries about the approval duration for the DTV visa are also present.

Hi! How long did it take for your DTV to get approved in Hanoi?

Just add six months and look for that on the stamp, simply.

I now do this calculation myself every time before arriving. 180 days from Friday March 7 = September 3. So expect your stamp to say either 2 Sept or 3 Sept. A difference of one or two days isn't a big deal so I wouldn't fuss over it. Plus, they may have a different way of counting that 180.
