TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires whether a retiree moving from Samut Prakan to Lamphun needs to register with local immigration and how to handle their upcoming 90-day report. Community comments confirm that registration is required upon moving, including filing a TM30 and possibly a TM28 for change of address. Some users mention that not all immigration offices request a TM30, and that 90-day reports can sometimes be done online or by post, although this may vary by office.

I think it start to make sense to close it down before people try to explain that travel without a passport is mandatory.

We are thankful that many of you like to contribute, but please think twice if you give advice. If the advice is incorrect, people can get in problems with there visa or extension of stay.

You need a TM30 and likely a TM28 change of address to another province.
