Do I need to go to an embassy for visa amendments or can everything be done online?
If amendments need to be made, is it often that you are asked to go into an embassy or is most everything done online?
I didn't realize that the application was processed at a local embassy and have made plans to move to another country thinking that everything was done digitally.

Stay in the country where you apply for the DTV visa until the decision is known.

You apply via the consulate that serves the location you are currently in and you must remain there until the process completes. Going elsewhere invites rejection
