Hey!!

Can I apply for the DTV visa with the London embassy whilst being in Spain?

Has anyone done this before?

Thank you 🙏

Answer summary

The consensus is that you cannot apply for the DTV visa at the London embassy if you are currently in Spain. The Thai embassy processing your application must correspond to your physical location. Recipients of e-visas must apply through the embassy that has jurisdiction over their current residence, and many users report being required to attend interviews at the embassy where they applied.

You must apply through the Thai embassy that has jurisdiction over where you are physically. The e-visa application clearly asks for your current location and that's how it decides which Thai embassy will process your application.

There was a recent post about someone who applied at the London embassy and received notice that they had to report to the embassy in London 2 days later.

I wouldn’t risk it as I was actually asked to go for an interview in London. I live in the UK so it was fine, but if you’re in another country, I would not recommend because if you don’t attend the interview your Visa will be denied.
