With employment contract are they looking at the salary to be the main source of said minimum? Asking because I have an official employment contract that is not full time and I also have private freelance contracts. I file taxes (USA) as a freelancer/my own business but also include this contract as an employee.
I’ve heard being employed by a company is a bit easier to file for DTV. However I have higher income from several sources being a private contractor.
What to do here?
TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring whether the salary from their employment contract should be the primary source of income when applying for the Thailand Digital nomad visa (DTV), given they also have private freelance contracts. They mention having filed taxes as a freelancer and suggest that being employed might simplify the visa process, despite earning a higher income from freelancing. Comments from others recommend providing comprehensive documentation including banking statements, contracts, client letters, and tax returns to support their application.
