I am an 1099 independent contractor/freelancer in US. I have had only one contract since I did contractor. The monthly income is minimal since I only need to work for them for a few hours each month. My main income source is from property rental. Am I eligible to apply for DTV? I am worried they will question my contractor income is not sufficient.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a 1099 independent contractor mainly earning from property rental, inquires about eligibility for a Thai DTV visa, expressing concern over their minimal contractor income. Responses clarify that there is no income requirement for the DTV visa, but a capital requirement of 500,000 THB is necessary. An alternative suggestion includes applying for a soft power visa, emphasizing the importance of having sufficient funds.

Why don’t you apply for soft power? So you don’t have to worry about that. Maybe easier since you have main income but make sure that you have 500k in account
