Hello !

Im back in thailand on a VISA exemption (french passport), i have planed to go chaengwattana on thursday to apply for a VISA based on mariage to my thai spouse.

My question here is concerning the TM30. I have never done my TM30 by myself (fill the paper at the immigration) everytime my landlord update it via an application by using my passport my last stamp and my TM6 card. After that he send me a screenshot of the TM30 to me.

Is it enough in order to get the VISA based on mariage or i have to fill the paper by myself at the immigration ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is in Thailand on a visa exemption and plans to apply for a marriage visa based on their Thai spouse. They have not filled out the TM30 form themselves in the past, as their landlord has done it via an application. The user wants to know if the TM30 screenshots provided by their landlord are sufficient for the visa application or if they need to fill in the TM30 form personally.

The screenshot of the TM30 receipt should be fine. You may or may not need to show a contract of lease or some notes from a landlord for you to stay on that premises. Better to check in advance.

I'm curious, are you living with your Thai wife?

Who owns the property you're staying at? Is it the wife, or are you renters?

we are renters and the contract is on my name. But the 1 year contract is over since last October, I just pay every month now and if I want to leave just let know the landlord 1 month before

The landlord *SHOULD* let the immigration office know when you arrive. I recommend self-filing the TM30. See Tod Daniel's post at

so from your knowledge, a screenshot of the application from the landlord after updating the tm30 is not enough for the folder I need to apply for the VISA based on marriage?

I'm asking because the landlord told me this is what he gets used to do when renters ask him the TM30

I'm not sure what the screenshot you're referring to. If it looks like one of the bottom two images on the attached file, that's your TM30. Print it out and submit it with your application package.

That's the TM30 ๐Ÿ™‚ Print it off and include it in the application package.
