I didn’t cancel it. It’s canceled itself when you get out of the country. And yes i got approved. Applied in Yangon Myanmar.

it depends if you were on an actual visa or on an extension of stay. If you were on an extension of stay you need to visit immigration with documentation from your school to cancel. If you were on an actual visa without a re-entry permit it is automatically cancelled when you leave. Check your passport.Anonymous *************

Anonymous participant look at what it actually says on the stamp in your passport. Does it say something like "extension of stay is permitted...". If so you are on an extension of stay, it's unlikely you would do 90 day reports on a 90 day visa as it doesn't allow you to stay long enough

Yes, the date is based on my ED visa, which is up to 6th march 2025. I dont see the problem.I am not the only one who has student visa and replaces it with dtv.

Anonymous participant ok, that is NOT a visa. It IS an extension of stay. Which means you should be OK to go and apply for the DTV, even with a re-entry permit, but will need to cancel the extension when you return to Thailand at the office that gave you the extension, Buriram by the looks of things. I take it you study at a university there?

Anonymous participant its not expired, it's valid until March next year. But that aside when you get an extension like this you sign a bit of paper that says you will inform them if your circumstances change so you need to honour that

Of course, if the extension was for longer. But if its not valid anymore (I hope to receive the dtv mid February) - then, why its needed to advise them of changes in circumstances..
maybe its one of those birocracy I dont understand 🙂

I will go to immigration and ask. For me it doesn't make sense to cancel an extension that already expired.. You seems very confident, so you're probably right.

If i understand your question, I am on an actual visa. On my initial visa stamp 12 months ago, extension of stay permitted until.. since then did few times extensions also left and came back.John **********
