Excuse the dumb question but I need to ask it.

I am currently on a 90 day O visa based on retirement and will be applying for a one year extension. When the time comes, do I have to book an appointment with immigration or can I just show up and join the queue.

Thanks in advance for any helpful replies.

Appointment not required but highly recommended. My last extension application I was in and out in 45mins. I jumped the queue and was attended to very promptly
