I'm going to Thailand for 56 days in June, so I don't need to apply for a visa according to the new rules. I can stay for 60 days without a visa, right?

TLDR : Answer Summary
If you're staying in Thailand for 56 days in June, you likely won't need to apply for a visa, as you can stay for up to 60 days without one if you are from one of the 90+ countries eligible for visa exemption.

Depends on if you're from one of the 90+ countries that are listed here

These countries get 60 days "visa exempt" (free stamp) entry when they show up here
