TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, you can still stay in Thailand for 45 days on a visa exempt entry, which is applicable until April 1st. However, a standard tourist visa obtained from an embassy allows for a stay of up to 60 days. Additionally, there is confusion regarding the duration of a tourist visa versus other visa options, such as the NON-O visa, which can provide a longer stay.

Yes, in fact a tourist visa allows you to stay for 60 days. Visa exempt entry is currently 45 days but may return to 30 days at the end of the month.

You can in fact stay 60 days with a tourist visa you purchase from an embassy before you travel to Thailand.

If you're asking about visa exempt which is no visa at all, then that is 45 days until April 1st.

immigration is very against it being extended. So it's the tourism agency vs immigration. Which do you think has more power?
