TLDR : Answer Summary
Travelers from Australia do not need to apply for a visa prior to leaving for Thailand if they plan to stay for 45 days. Australians are eligible for a visa exemption that allows them to stay in Thailand for up to 60 days upon arrival. Upon entry, they will receive a visa-exempt stamp. If they wish to stay longer, they can apply for an extension of an additional 30 days while in Thailand.

Don’t see any point in having this group if people can’t ask a question without getting harassed for doing so…. Yes google is available but google can also provide conflicting or out of date information so maybe people use the group to get some clarity πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

If you want a visa, you'll have to apply for one. You can come visa exempt for 60 days though, without a visa.

Info should be on the Aus Govt website. But if you have Aus passport you get 60 days without a visa. Can extend for extra 30 days.
