I am sure this has already been answered but I searched and canโt seem to find an answer.
As a U.S. citizen visiting Thailand, do we have to pay for a visa? To get the 60 days, we have to pay for a tourist visa? If so, where exactly do we pay for it? Can we get in on arrival? Or should we get an e visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
U.S. citizens visiting Thailand do not need to pay for a visa as they receive a 60-day visa exemption upon arrival. It is not a visa but a free entry stamp, and no payment is required at the airport. A return or onward ticket is necessary, and there is no need to obtain a visa in advance or apply for an e-visa for this duration.
Exactly why I asked! Thank you for taking the time to answer :)
