I am sure this has already been answered but I searched and can’t seem to find an answer.

As a U.S. citizen visiting Thailand, do we have to pay for a visa? To get the 60 days, we have to pay for a tourist visa? If so, where exactly do we pay for it? Can we get in on arrival? Or should we get an e visa?

TLDR : Answer Summary
U.S. citizens can enter Thailand without a visa for a stay of up to 60 days, receiving a free stamp upon arrival instead of needing to pay for a tourist visa. There is no option to purchase a visa at the airport, and travelers must have a valid passport and proof of onward travel.

Strange if you cannot find an answer, it should almost be harder to find places where this isn't written than where it is.

But yeah, your conclusion is wrong. You do not pay to get 60 days visa exemption.

Oh okay, so I don’t have to do anything before or upon arrival? I only plan on staying for the 60 days, maybe less.

@Kandy *******
If you have an onward ticket or a return ticket within 60 days, you can just bring your passport and come.😉
