For extending an ED visa at Nakhon Pathom office as an American: my university says I need to also bring the TM.30 housing form, however most online resources don't make any mention of this document. Will I be turned away without it? Any help or info is appreciated. Thanks.

TLDR : Answer Summary
An American seeking to extend an ED visa at the Nakhon Pathom office is unsure about the necessity of bringing the TM.30 housing form, which their university requires, as online resources do not mention it. They seek clarification on whether they will be turned away without this document.

Does it harm you to bring another form just be be sure? I hope the damage for carrying 1 form extra is less than another visit if Immigration insist to see the TM 30 form.

To add more, once you submitted the form, ask the officer if you need to re-submit them every time you do your 90 day report.. there are "some" immigration office that "requires" you to submit the form every time you do 90 day report or extension. and also, you need to write down all foreigners living/staying on that house/property.

This TM 30 should be filled at Immigration within 24 hours after arrival, if it turns out that now is much later be prepared Immigration can fine you a max of 2000 Thb. Normally the charge is 1.600 Thb for it and yes the house master must pay before they go on with any other request like extension of stay.

agree, you just need to ask the owner to sign the form and a copy of his Thai ID & house registration.

As the house master of your apartment you can file the paper after the owners signed it.

The issue is that my apartment managers have not been very helpful in filing it. They have to go to immigration themselves which is apparently too big of a hassle to help me out.
