Hi I’m going to Chaengwattana immigration office this week. I’ve got a 60 day SETV and wanting a 30 day extension. Do I need to obtain a TM30 form from my apart/Hotel?
( Hotel has no idea what TM30 form is)
Do I go to immigration division 1 room to obtain the extension?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquired about the necessity of a TM30 form when seeking a 30-day extension for a 60-day SETV at the Chaengwattana immigration office. Various comments clarified that tourists typically do not need a TM30 form as hotels usually register their guests with immigration on their behalf. The user was advised to bring necessary documents including passport copies and a filled TM.7 form without needing to show TM30. Confirmation was also provided on the location, mentioning it is at Division 1 on the second floor of the immigration office.
, Follow the herd of foreigners, believe me it'll be jammed with people. :O You can't miss it. ;)
It's on the second floor (which looks like the ground floor but isn't). There's a GIANT sign on the door. That says Division 1

You need copies of the data page of your passport, the tourist visa, the entry stamp and the TM.6 departure card. Those copies, a filled out TM.7 application form, a passport sized photo and 1900baht get you a 30 day extension.
They are open 8:30-4:30 and stop giving out queue numbers at 3:30 in the afternoon.

Tod is it division 1 room I can’t seem to get an answer to that part of my question.
The same question was asked last week and that person reported back that they were not asked for TM30 when extending a tourist visa at Chaengwattana, so I would say no need

You don’t say what day...remember Wednesday is a holiday.

No need for tourist.
Just fill in the address where you are staying, and no need to provide any proof.

Chaengwattana generally don't enforce TM30 reporting and anyway it's your hotel's responsibility.

Keep bill and visiting card of hotel.
Its enough for then instead if tm30

your hotel most likely has already registered you with Immigration. So no need for a TM30 for you. Also the need for a TM30 is normally not for tourists, but for permanent resident and long stay expats
