So when renewing extension of stay, O-A visa you have to have the relevant medical insurance 40k and 400k minimum, do you also require the COVID 19 insurance on top if this ? We got this initially for getting the CoE.

TLDR : Answer Summary
When renewing an O-A visa extension, you are required to have medical insurance that meets the minimum coverage of 40,000 THB for outpatient and 400,000 THB for inpatient. However, you do not need to obtain separate COVID-19 insurance for the extension process.

You don't need Covid insurance separately (or on top) for application for 1-year extension from Non-OA entry.

Yes you will need to have proof of the insurance which meets the requirements of the OA visa at time of extension.

Must be obtained from a Thai insurance company approved and has both 400,000 Thai baht inpatient and 40,000 Thai baht outpatient coverages.
