Hi. I am traveling Colombo Sri Lanka to Krabi Thailand by AirAsia and expecting a transit of 2h in Kuala Lumpur airport, Malaysia. It says for β€œFly thru” passengers not required to apply for transit visa and can go directly to departure lounge for next flight at KL. Anyone who got the same experience?? Would like to heard a real life experience prior to departure!!! Thank you!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Traveling from Colombo, Sri Lanka to Krabi, Thailand with a 2-hour layover in Kuala Lumpur Airport, you won't need a transit visa as a "Fly thru" passenger. You can go directly to the departure lounge for your next flight without going through border control. Several users have shared positive experiences of the transit lounge, mentioning it as a comfortable place to wait.
