Hi, soon I will visit my home country to change my present dependent visa (O) to employment category (B). I have been here in Thailand since July 2017.

My concern is PCC, am I suppose to obtain 1 from Thailand local city police station or should I need from it from my local police station in my home country? VFS Thailand website doesn't say much about it.

Thanks in advance !

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is looking to change their dependent visa (Non-O) to an employment visa (Non-B) and is unsure about the necessity of obtaining a Police Clearance Certificate (PCC). The comments suggest that if the visa change is processed in the home country, the PCC should be obtained from the local police there. Additionally, one commenter recommends obtaining a PCC from the Thai police before leaving for safety.

If you are gett ing your non-B in your home country then the police clearance should be from your home country.

IF you were going to a 3rd country (like Laos) then the Thai one is usually adequate OR a home country one that is less than 1 year old.

It can't hurt to get one from the police special branch BEFORE you go back. I mean it would be so bad if you got back there, needed it and didn't have it.

I would get it just to be safe
