Has anyone been asked about their Muay Thai training contract upon returning to Thailand? When I applied for a DTV visa a year ago, I had a six-month contract with a Muay Thai school, but it expired while I was outside Thailand for over three months. I want to return. Do I need to sign a new contract before arriving, or can I return without a new contract with a Muay Thai club?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on the need for a new Muay Thai training contract for re-entry to Thailand with a DTV visa. Responses indicate that it's generally unnecessary to present proof of an active contract upon entry, especially if the primary aim is to engage in Muay Thai training. Points raised include that evidence of financial stability (having a specific amount in a bank account and cash) is more crucial for extensions. Overall, past experiences suggest that returning without a current contract is likely permissible.
no you can't guarantee anything. You can accept money for a promise of safe entry that they would have had no problem with regardless. Stop scamming people.
My understanding is that you only need to continue showing evidence of soft power activity if you want a 180-day extension, that is to not leave Thailand within 180-days. It is more important than you can show at least 500,000 baht in a bank account and 20,000 baht in cash equivalent. Of course it is better to get more professional advice.
