Does someone have experience applying to a muy Thai school for the dtv but living elsewhere? If you would fly out every 6 months this would not be a problem right? would it be a problem if you do an extension?

TLDR : Answer Summary
Users share experiences regarding the DTV visa for Muay Thai training, emphasizing that flying out every 6 months is common and not problematic. They caution that while no issues can be guaranteed during the visa's validity, applying for extensions is more complex, requiring documentation and a bank balance proof.

Flying out every 6 months is what many do. The DTV is a multi entry visa, you leave and enter as you please for 5 years. Applying for extension requires document submission of continued activity and residency plus updated bank balance of 500K THB. Much easier to do a border run every 6 mths.
