Hello everyone, I'm sorry to probably ask this question 1000 times but I'm new in the group and there is a looot of publications about this : My partner and I are French citizens and we would like to do a visa exemption to Koh Samui. Do I need a medical certificate? And from government hospital or private hospital? (I saw opposite informations about what kind of hospital) thank you for any answer. Wish you a great evening, take care :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The question poses whether French citizens need a medical certificate when seeking a visa exemption to Koh Samui, and if it should be issued by a government or private hospital. Comments mention that visa requirements may vary depending on the type of visa and extension process being pursued.

There are two different things. You can apply at the Immigration office, on Koh Samui, if you have the tourist visa once for a 30 day Extension of Stay.

If you go to a border leave Thailand, stamp in/out neighbor country you get a new 30 day Visa Exempt Entry.
