thank you, our Samui office has more controls and checks each year, we are required to make a drawing of where we live in addition to a Google map... so we jump through the hoops 555

the key is to get the checklist for this visa at your local Thai Immigration office. Some request the medical certificate while others do not. Good luck!

Robert Lagas the Siricha Immigration office does require a medical certificate. The cert is whatever the doc or local Thai clinic uses. No tests. Just questions by Dr. And signs OK.

Samui May have it’s own rules, #9 on requirements says “ Medical Certificate ( Hospital only valid for 7 days ) “

You do not need a medical certificate if you apply for a Non Immigrant O visa based on being over 50 years or for an Extension of Stay based on being over 50 years of age at the Immigration Office.

Easy to obtain from Thai doctor in most street medical clinics. . Usually 200-300 Thai baht. I got one several years in a row in Siricha. In and out in about 20 minutes. No tests done...just answered questions.
