TLDR : Answer Summary
The question is whether a medical certificate for visa purposes must be issued by a government hospital or if a private hospital like Bangkok Hospital is acceptable.

The ONLY border that ANYONE has said they have success bouncing out and in at is the Ban Pakard Border in Chantaburi Province.

BUT for sure they are NOT letting France, Germany, Iran, Italy, Spain or USA passports OR anyone with a passport from another country that has been to those countries in the last 14 days bounce out and back there.

US citizens aren't getting letters either. IF this changes, you'll still have to make an appointment online for any business you do at the embassy.

Who said I am on overstay? My visa is until April 5, I have a right to 7 days extension. I am waiting for a letter from my embassy to get 30 days extension. Are you happy now, Smartie? Gregor Huettner

Sorry, You will NOT get into Lao without a visa in your passport

AND

Lao canceled their visa on arrival program <- that means you CANNOT buy a visa when you land at the airport OR cross into the country by land

Lao canceled their "visa exempt" program <- that was people from countries who get into Lao for free

Lao canceled their "eVisa" program <- that was where you bought a visa online

AND

The two Lao consulates her stopped selling visas.

So unless you already HAVE a valid visa for lao in your passport OR are laotian you ain't getting in to Lao
