TLDR : Answer Summary
When an ED visa is denied, embassies typically return all submitted documents, but procedures can vary. Some embassies may keep paperwork if they consider it void, while others will hand everything back. It's important to note that documents prepared specifically for one consulate cannot be reused at another if denied.

Good Luck Filip ...time to test your options. You have had many helpful suggestions in this and many other posts by you're in recent weeks.

As before...I highly recommend you chat with Amornrat before you trek anywhere.

The thing is especially for ED visas. The paperwork prepared by your school is usually addressed to the consulate you're going to. SO even if that consulate denies you and hands the paperwork back you can't use it at another consulate to try for a visa. You need to get new paperwork from your school and try again.

I was denied an ED visa a few months back in Vientiane, nothing was put in my passport and documents were given back. They said due to my history in Thailand.

I had 2 tourist visas I got a blue stamp after the first tourist visa. Also one land crossing and extension while waiting for documents. I had been on a non b Visa for about 13 months before that. It's a language school in BKK no real problems with other applicants. I found out later that they are looking at the length of time your are in Thailand even if your on the right visa before hand. I got a blue stamp after 1 tourist visa and everytime they point to it and I try to explain but they don't listen. Wrong place wrong time. I have friends with

tourist visas and then got a ED visa no problems. I think alot had to do with new rules and the new appointment system being brought in, alot of people from Vientiane went to Savannakhet around the time. I ve heard its a lot easier at Kota Bharu. My school have been sending people there and had success. Good luck.

what was ur visa history and school that u applied for?

if they refuse the application than you get all back. If the VOID it they keep the documents. That particular procedure depends Embassy by Embassy.

I am not certain they would/must give anything back that is specifically addressed to that Embassy or consulate

why you worry that your ED visa application gets denied?

Because s/he been living here for too long, according to his prior posts

If they deny the ED visa, they usually reject the paperwork. They simply hand all the documents back and say "you're in Thailand for too long, go back home and apply" (Or something like that).

The paperwork is addressed to the specific consulate usually though.
