Can anyone confirm that a 90 day visa exemption stamp (Brazilian) can be extended by 30 days? I would have thought so but my friend seems adamant that it can’t. Much appreciated πŸ‘

TLDR : Answer Summary
A 90-day visa exemption stamp for Brazilian nationals typically cannot be extended by 30 days. However, if circumstances prevent leaving Thailand, it may be possible to obtain an emergency extension by providing documentation from the embassy.

No, normally there is no 30 day Extension of Stay on this 90 day out of bilateral agreement.

But with help of his Embassy that it was impossible to leave Thailand, he can apply with that letter at Immigration Office for an emergency extension of stay.
