Do all applicants need to attend the Thai embassy in person for ED and non-O visa applications?

Hi all. I am applying for ED visas for my children and non-O guardian visas for my wife and me at the Thai embassy in kuala Lumpur. Does anyone know whether all applicants need to attend in person or whether i can submit on behalf of my wife and/or children? TIA
