My co teacher at work on Wednesday has renewed her visa and didn’t get a fine for not reporting with tm30 when she (they) arrived. She came in Thailand on the 3rd of May, 2019 with her daughter and husband, from the Philippines for a short vacay. Is there anyone here with similar experience? TIA

TLDR : Answer Summary
A poster shares their coworker's experience of renewing a visa in Thailand without facing fines for not submitting a TM30 report upon arrival. They inquire if others have had similar experiences. Commenters speculate that the coworker was likely on a visa-exempt status, which may not require TM30 reporting.
Garrett Greenwald from the various real estate agents we’ve spoken to, I understood that the landlords have to submit the TM30 each time we go in / out of the country. But if non-immigrant visa holders can do it themselves that would be easier as I don’t really trust that the landlord would submit it on time.
