Personally i would look on booking.com or agoda and check first then ring the hotel. No idea what restrictions are in place in UK

Mapping out a plan to get here on a Visa without making a mistake or stepping on some officials toes are perfectly fine reasons to ask questions. Even if those questions start with trying to launch the journey. Staying at an airport hotel the day / night before the flight is a method I use to reduce stress of timing to arrive at check in, etc.

Hotels cant all be closed. There has to be at least those for foreign aircrews. Whether they will permit an overnight before travel for passengers is the question?Eddie ******
