TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses concerns about entering Thailand with prescription drugs, particularly for cancer treatment. Commenters share experiences indicating that carrying prescription medications generally poses no issues, especially if they are in their original packaging. They recommend having a doctor's letter and official prescription on hand, although many have reported never being asked for these documents during customs checks. However, there is a cautionary note regarding the strict regulations on certain drugs, implying that adherence to official guidelines is crucial.

I have an app, that lists all my scripts and medicine as well as my wife's, I only had to use it to show a doctor here what she was using. Customs have never bothered to check, we come and go twice a year
They don’t check but if for some reason you get caught with certain drugs in your possession then there may be consequences…for example certain Nasel Decongestants are banned because they contain PSE which is used to create Meth.

Good question, I always make sure that I have my latest prescription with me, but I've never been asked for anything (100% know what will happen the next time I go 😂)

Had kidney transplant in 2001. Taken my tablets over every year since. Never been asked about them. Never have my prescription with me either.

If they do randomly check, medicine must be in original packaging (which is bulky) and a letter from your doctor listing the medicines and dosage and why you need them. Now whether the immigration officer asks for the letter or not is up to them ( no doubt many have not been asked)
